On the 16^th of September, at the Residence of the Italian Embassy in Sofia, a cocktail was held to commemorate the 15^th Anniversary of the activities of Confindustria Bulgaria.

Almost 400 guests gathered for the event, including many representatives of various institutions, foreign business organizations in Bulgaria, as well as Bulgarian and Italian entrepreneurs.

An annual partner for the event, as well as a permanent member of the Association, is Bulgaria Engineering EAD, represented by eng. Plamen Dilkov - member of the Board of Directors of Confindustria.

The Association Confindustria Bulgaria for 15 years has now successfully bridged the business of the two countries, while its member companies can boast that they produce a considerable portion of the Gross Domestic Product of Bulgaria. The presenter of the event was the Executive Director of Confindustria Roberto Maskali. The first to be invited to offer his greetings was the Chairman Pietro Luigi Ghia, a historical figure for the Italian entrepreneurship in Bulgaria for more than 20 years. H. E. Ambassador Conticelli awarded him after his greeting an honorary plaque. Confindustria Bulgaria unites more than 300 companies, from large international companies to numerous small and medium sized enterprises, which have invested and developed their activities in Bulgaria during the past years. Its 15 years of history set an example for the development and growth of any association. On a global scale, the members of Confindustria number 150 000 companies.

The evening continued in an appropriately pleasant manner with an excellent menu, selected especially for the event. The attendance by a large portion of the Bulgarian business elite once again demonstrated the efficiency of the association and its high importance for the Bulgarian business environment development.
