On May 27, 2025, Eng. Plamen Dilkov took part in the Confindustria Annual Assembly, held at the EuropAuditorium Theatre in Bologna. The event brought together over 2,000 participants, including entrepreneurs, institutional representatives, and leading political figures.

In the presence of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola, the Assembly opened with the European and Italian anthems, performed by the Antoniano Choir.

During the event, Confindustria President Emanuele Orsini presented his vision for a stronger and more competitive industrial Europe, emphasizing the need for an Extraordinary Industrial Plan focused on energy, simplification, reforms, and investment in people. Orsini called for a “new pact between political and social forces” to achieve “a stronger Europe and an even greater Italy.”

Both Metsola and Meloni reaffirmed the central role of Italian industry and the value of Made in Italy in Europe, highlighting the solidity of the national production system.
