Eng. Plamen Dilkov took part in the 2025 edition of RE-Source Southeast, the largest event dedicated to renewable energy procurement for businesses in Southeast Europe. The conference was held on May 21–22 in Sofia, under the auspices of the RE-Source platform and organized by RE-Source Hub Southeast.
This year’s edition tackled the most relevant topics in the sector: power purchase agreements (PPAs), electricity trading, market developments, ESG and corporate sustainability strategies, decarbonization, grid services, energy storage, and financing opportunities for green projects.
Among the institutional guests was the Minister of Energy, Žečo Stankov, who announced the launch of the procedure for creating the largest energy storage battery in Bulgaria.
The Executive Director of ESO also spoke, highlighting that 90% of Bulgaria’s energy mix already consists of clean energy sources.
The event brought together over 450 participants from 25 countries, including CEOs, managers, analysts, traders, and energy sector experts, offering valuable opportunities for networking and exchange.
