Eng. Plamen Dilkov, Vice President of Confindustria Bulgaria with responsibility for the Energy sector, took part on Monday, April 7th, in the round table “Bulgaria and the Fifth Industrial Revolution…” held at the Hotel Balkan in Sofia.

The meeting, organized to explore opportunities for attracting strategic investors in the construction of artificial intelligence factories and data centers, was attended by political, academic, and industrial authorities, including the President of the Republic, Rumen Radev.

In his speech, Radev outlined Bulgaria’s strengths – from the Discoverer supercomputer to its strong mathematical and IT traditions, as well as its energy and territorial infrastructure – emphasizing how the country is ready to play a leading role in the global AI race.
