On April 2, 2025, the award ceremony of the 19th edition of the prestigious “Investor of the Year 2024” competition, organized by the InvestBulgaria Agency (IBA), was held at the John Atanasoff Hall in Sofia Tech Park.
Bulgaria Engineering had the pleasure of being represented by Eng. Plamen Dilkov and Mrs. Elena Dilkova, who attended the event alongside prominent figures from the business and institutional sectors.
Confindustria Bulgaria also took part in the event, with speeches by President Roberto Santorelli and Vice President Plamen Dilkov, confirming the strong ties between Italian and Bulgarian entrepreneurship.
During the ceremony, IBA’s Executive Director Mila Nenova presented the results achieved in 2024: 27 investment class certificates were issued under the Investment Promotion Act, 14 of which were for high-tech activities, totaling BGN 645 million and expected to generate 1,846 new jobs.
The main award, “Investor of the Year 2024,” was given to the company Biovet AD, a leader in the production of veterinary products for industrial livestock farming.
