The team of Bulgaria Engineering EAD participated in public discussions on the draft update of the River Basin Management Plan (RBMP) in the Danube region, prepared by the Basin Directorate - Danube Region for the period 2016-2021. It was a 2-day event held in Pleven (May 16, 2016) and in Sofia (May 20, 2016).
The meeting was attended by representatives of NGOs, water users and investors in the hydropower sector.
Given the strong interest and different opinions stated, during the discussion the Basin Directorate extended the deadline for submission of written opinions by June 15, 2016.
